Perception of the Estate Agent

Category News

Why does it seem the general perception of the estate agent to sellers and buyers is one that;

Does not really care - wants a quick deal.

Only think of themselves.

Not knowledgeable.

Is always to blame.

Commission their only concern.

This in my opinion can only be rectified by the agents themselves.

It is vital that agents who call themselves consultants or specialists - ensure they have the knowledge , honesty and integrity that qualifies them for this title. This is what must be portrayed to their clients from 1 st impression and throughout their dealings to the end and beyond, the perception of the client is their reality.

Clients, looking to place their largest asset in the hands of an agent, need to feel comfortable and have complete trust in the agent conducting a professional marketing, negotiation and selling strategy, with full commitment from beginning to end.

It would be wonderful if the commission could be respected as a professional fee and not as something to be negotiated to bridge the gap in the negotiation process.

Agents need to conduct themselves as professional consultants who are there for the benefit of all parties , giving advice and guidance that are in most cases overlooked by buyers and sellers alike.

Professional agents know how to negotiate their commission and therefore sellers can see they would be best suited to negotiate best price on their behalf.

Agents must be confident in portraying this negotiation effectively and holding the trust of both parties.

When all this is experienced and confidently embraced, a successful deal will be accomplished with all parties walking away feeling they are winners.

Our mission at Skyrise Properties is to always show our core strength of knowledge, trust , honesty, and integrity and have all parties feeling they are winners.

Please do not hesitate to call Skyrise Properties for an experience of pure gratification of holding the winner's medal.
